Rep. Duncan Hunter, the top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, spoke to HUMAN EVENTS this morning about President Bush’s new plan for Iraq. The California congressman is contemplating a run for the presidency in 2008.
Hunter, who attended a White House ceremony for the late Cpl. Jason Dunham this morning, had to split the interview into two parts. The first deals mostly with the details of the President’s plan for Iraq, while the second addresses Democratic opposition to troop surge.
