Conservatives and the Internets

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Conservatism| Technology

I just got back from a very successful panel discussion that I moderated with some of the brightest and best conservative minds using the Internet. Erick Erickson of RedState, David All of the David All Group, James O’Keefe of the Leadership Institute, Matthew Sheffield of NewsBusters.org and John Ziegler of KFI 640 AM in Los Angeles spent an hour talking about successes conservatives have experienced online. Chuck DeFeo of Townhall served as the emcee. I can get into more details later, but in general I want to thank the panelists and the audience for some great questions.

UPDATE — March 4, 8:25 p.m.: I’m catching up on some unfinished business from CPAC and came across Conn Carroll’s report on Hotline on Call about our panel.

Robert,

I was the guy who asked about the “tools” right off the bat. I wanted to thank you for keeping things moving and keeping people involved. It was interesting seeing the variety of perspectives ranging from established groups (RedState) to political advisors (David All) to some of the more grassroots stuff.

Thanks.

@sorendayton Please let USNews be wrong. I guess I'd take Whitman out of that group, although I know next to nothing about her policy views.

@justin_hart Good idea on mymanmitt.com. I liked your e-mail pitch, too. Hadn't heard that story about Romney and the pizza party before.

@rightwingsparkl We need more conservative leaders like Michael Williams.
