Mitt and Ann (Coulter, That Is)

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Conservatism| Politics

Mitt Romney at CPAC, originally uploaded by Rob Bluey.

Just moments after I snapped this photo of Mitt Romney and wife Ann, I asked the Republican presidential candidate what he thought about the endorsement he received from the other Ann at CPAC.

Romney said he wasn’t aware of it, but welcomed the support. His wife appeared even more excited than he did. (Now that Romney’s campaign has publicly criticized Coulter’s remarks about John Edwards, I’d love to see the video of his response to my question.)

Jack Yoest of Reasoned Audacity, standing beside me at the time, followed up with a question about the other Ann, standing beside Romney. “Who’s more conservative?” Yoest asked. Mitt laughed.

Please let us know over at 2008 Central if you get your hands on a clip of that video (or audio).

Also, I’m assuming he welcomed Coulter’s support prior to knowing the content of her speech, or is that not the case? We’ll be sure to note any updates.

Thanks for the first hand info (it’s typically the most interesting).

Just saw two helicopters flying over Thurmont, MD. I wonder if the Obamas are visiting Camp David?

@MelissaTweets Nope, I'm in Atlanta. Don't think there's a Chick-fil-A at Reagan.
