Philadelphia was fun and Resource Bank was cool, but I’m downright exhausted after three days at the Loews Hotel. Hopefully my blogging over the past three days has convinced some of you to think about attending next year’s event in Atlanta.
This morning’s panel was excellent. We had a great turnout (despite the fact we were competing against Sen. Tom Coburn) and heard outstanding presentations. The three people who spoke — 18 Doughty Street co-founder Donal Blaney, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility President Michael Quinn Sullivan, and Utah state Rep. Steve Urquhart, founder of Politicopia — are shining examples of conservatives who have embraced technology.
Afterward, I had lunch with Urquhart and my buddy Matt Sheffield of NewsBusters. They took me to Fogo de Ch√£o, a Brazilian steakhouse that I’d highly recommend.
The train ride home was uneventful, except at 3:40 p.m. when Sen. John McCain hosted a bloggers’ conference call. I’ll have a report on that shortly.
