Oops! Pelosi Says ‘Global War on Terror’

Rank-and-file House Democrats tried to keep the term “Global War on Terror” out of the Iraq supplemental bill, but apparently no one told Speaker Nancy Pelosi it was off limits.

During her photo-op with the press corps this afternoon, Pelosi encouraged President Bush to sign the “Global War on Terror” spending bill, saying it would let the United States continue to fight terrorism without interruption.

Brad Dayspring at the Republican Study Committee speculates that Pelosi “missed the memo.” This seems to be yet another case of Democrat hypocrisy.
