My French friend Alex Pesey of the Institut de Formation Politique tells Townhall’s Matt Lewis that he “pray[s] Nicolas Sarkozy will be our Ronald Reagan, not another Jacques Chirac.” I haven’t said much about France’s presidential election, but I’m encouraged by Sarkozy’s victory and hope Pesey’s prayers come true. Newt Gingrich and John Fund also have good articles about Sarkozy.
