I am 85 years young, a WWII vet who would do anything for the country I once believed in. What is wrong with enforcing the existing, I repeat "existing" laws that apply to ILLEGAL aliens. This country is being destroyd by greedy, corrupt politicians.

After reading about the plot to blow up the jet fuel pipe line and half of New York brings things back into focus. Can we really be expending all this political currency on the global warming threat when we have a bunch of mad men at the gates armed with nukes vowing to destroy our way of life. Can't the Amnesty bill be written so as to distinguish between the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to breathe free and the wildeyed jihadist"

Someone said this" "Yet can’t we agree that an armed psychopath in our house is more of a threat than a finger raising the thermostat one degree? (Not that it’s certain any such human cause exists; it may be no more than a cyclical brownout of the planetary air conditioning.) And shouldn’t we admit that “in our house” is literally true, when it comes to thousands of Islamic radicals who have slipped across US borders and now stand to gain instant legalization under the Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill?"

And I agree with this litnus test for a candidate. Who should my candidate be?

"As we look at the slate of presidential candidates, we must ask ourselves who stands out as the most authentic, principled and visionary leader. It is that candidate that deserves our vote."

[...] Arizona Senators Jon Kyl and John McCain might not want to mess with Michelle Dallacroce of Mothers Against Illegal Aliens. She was on Neil Cavuto’s “Your World” on Fox News this afternoon to talk about the immigration bill and proceeded to cut up her Republican Party card. She then promised to campaign against Kyl and McCain, two key architects of the bill with Sen. Teddy Kennedy (D.-Mass.) and the White House. Dallacroce was particularly peeved with Kyl, whom she called a “liar” and “flip-flopper.” Pressure from constituents like Dallacroce could be why Kyl might be looking to distance himself from the bill.
