Kudos to our fearless RedState leader Erick Erickson for being named one of the top bloggers by the Creative Loafing Atlanta, an alternative paper in Georgia. Of course, Erickson won the distinction for his work on Peach Pundit, his popular blog on Georgia politics.

I’ve been keeping you posted on Andrew Breitbart’s latest adventures (here and here). Now he’s generating some buzz in the conservative press. Kathryn Lopez of National Review Online and Robert Stacy McCain of the Washington Times each did an interview with Breitbart about his successful online venture Breitbart.com and his new site Breitbart.tv.
Last week at [...]
I just interviewed WMAL radio host Chris Core for my Townhall column next week about the grassroots uproar over the immigration bill. Core has been rock solid on the issue from the start.
During our conversation, he directed me to his webpage, which features an alternative immigration bill that he and his listeners wrote last week [...]
The Heritage Foundation’s James Jay Carafano and Mackenzie Eaglen appear in a new four-part YouTube series that dispels myths about defense spending. It’s part of Heritage’s effort to commit our government to spending 4% of gross domestic product on defense.
“Why 4 percent?” my colleague Baker Spring writes in a new paper out this week. “Liberals [...]

Lisa De Pasquale went to bat for Linda Chavez during her ill-fated nomination to be secretary of labor. Now DePasquale is questioning why she bothered after Chavez’s attack on conservatives who disagree with her about immigration.
The Heritage Foundation’s James Jay Caranfano is no fan of the immigration deal. In a new paper out this afternoon, he calls it “1986 Redux.” Carafano says the deal reached by the White House and Sen. Teddy Kennedy repeats the same mistakes of the 1986 amnesty deal.
Meanwhile, my colleague James Sherk criticizes a provision in [...]
In my nearly six years living in Washington, all under the reign of President Bush, I can’t recall a time when conservatives and the Bush Administration have clashed so virulently. The issue of immigration has divided traditional allies and caused what could be an irreparable rift.
Things were pretty bad during the battles over No Child [...]

I usually don’t blog about the e-mails I get from MoveOn.org, but one sent by Eli Pariser this afternoon caught my eye. The subject: “Should we throw in the towel?” Why, [...]

A mix of immigration and Iraq for today’s headlines. I’m off to a meeting shortly with the Republican Study Committee, the conservative wing of House Republicans. Tonight I’m skipping [...]
My longtime friend Ryan Miller writes with an update about The Reuben James and his own solo act. He’s posted audio from a few performances this month, including the Reuben James at The Vault and Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute. Miller also recently performed at Sickenberger Lane in a solo gig. It’s good music. Check it out.
