Five Brothers and a Blog

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Politics| Technology

Jose Antonio Vargas’ latest piece in the Washington Post is about the clever attempt by Mitt Romney’s five sons to personalize their father through the use of a blog called Five Brothers.

Campaigns can use family in many different ways, but I think Romney has found the magic formula. John McCain’s wife Cindy, for example, has a whole page devoted to herself on the campaign website. But her blog is rarely updated and, therefore, ineffective. Likewise, John Edwards places emphasis on his family, they’re also not doing anything particularly creative.

Kudos to the Romney boys for thinking outside the box.

Bluey if we can get Bush and congress to spent this two years securing the border instead of amnesty, then whoever wins in 2008 will not want to start their term off with amnesty for illegal aliens. If Hillary wins she won’t want to unless she wants to go down in 4 years wildy unpopular. If Fred wins he might jsut be a Sarkozy moving to the right of Bush\Chirac and deporting the illegal aliens.

I hope conservatives can hold the barbarians at the gate for a little longer.

Just saw two helicopters flying over Thurmont, MD. I wonder if the Obamas are visiting Camp David?

@MelissaTweets Nope, I'm in Atlanta. Don't think there's a Chick-fil-A at Reagan.

Took a detour to terminal A. Nothing is better than a Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit for breakfast. http://yfrog.com/0vgjyj
