Fred, Mitt Make Their Pitch to Young Republicans

I’m catching up on political news tonight and thankfully Soren Dayton and Marc Ambinder have made it easy with their coverage of the Young Republican National Convention in Miami. Soren has video of speeches by Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson. Soren also scored an exclusive interview with Thompson.

It seems Thompson has been busy reaching out to bloggers. Erick Erickson of RedState posted the first and second parts of an interview with the upstart presidential candidate.

UPDATE — 10:51 p.m.: Jim Geraghty did some good work today at National Review on a Los Angeles Times hit piece attacking Thompson.
