Rudy Mixes Baseball and Politics

What could be better, right? My two favorite pastimes — baseball and politics — are being melded by Rudy Giuliani, who is offering his supporters a pennant, baseball card or autographed ball in exchange for raising a few bucks. It’s a clever idea that appeals to low-end donors (it’s just $25 to get the pennant) and bigger fans (who need to raise $5,000 to get the autographed ball). Hat tip to Patrick Ruffini.

UPDATE — July 13, 10:12 a.m.: I wanted to clarify that in order to get the pennant, you need to raise $25 from nine people.
