Pandering to Planned Parenthood

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Politics

The mainstream media want you to believe the Democrat presidential candidates have “got religion,” but I’m at a loss for what faith they believe in. Their religious views certainly didn’t come across when they spoke before the Planned Parenthood Political Action Fund, pledging to do everything in their power to defend abortion. John Edwards’ wife even went so far as to promise it would be covered under her husband’s universal health-care plan. And Barack Obama thinks we should start teaching sex ed in kindergarten. If these Democrats are serious about reaching out to voters on social issues, they’re certainly not acting that way.

Fortunately, there is some good news about about someone standing up to Planned Parenthood. Rep. Mike Pence (R.-Ind.) today introduced an amendment to the Labor-HHS appropriations bill to prevent taxpayer dollars from being used to fund Planned Parenthood. In the wake of this disturbing video, Pence’s amendment ought to win passage easily.

I fail to see how teaching our children about sex is against christian teachings. Where in the bible does it say that all things related to sex should be kept behind closed doors? I’m not even sure the bible talks about abortion.

And frankly I dont see how once again a white male can regulate what goes on with a woman’s body. Shouldnt she have the “free will” that your god talks about. The “free will” to do what she wants with her life.

If you disagree then I think I’d like to see an article on how you are going to support all of the single moms out there. And support I mean financially and not spiritually. Spiritually doesnt pay the rent, put food on the table or pay the insurance. So how about it. What is your plan to take care of all of the unwanted children that you so profess to love.?

“But it‚Äôs the right thing to do,” Obama continued, “to provide age-appropriate sex education, science-based sex education in schools.”

This is the quote from Obama. What is wrong with that statement? Please let the world know?

Just saw two helicopters flying over Thurmont, MD. I wonder if the Obamas are visiting Camp David?
