‘These Democrats Are Unprepared to Run a Corner Store’
Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Politics
Eight Democrats took the stage in Charleston, S.C., tonight to debate the future of our great country. They came away looking clueless about foreign policy, dishonest about domestic policy and wholly unprepared to lead the United States. We can thank the 39 citizens whose questions were chosen for exposing those flaws.
Worst of all for the Democrats was that a Republican came away with the best line of the night. “It was never more apparent that all these Democrats are unprepared to run a corner store, never mind the largest entity in the world,” said Mitt Romney, the GOP presidential candidate who has launched an offensive against Democrats in recent days.
Earlier in the day I promoted David All and James Kotecki, but I’m sorry to say that they’ve haven’t updated their blogs lately, so instead I’d recommend checking out Marc Ambinder, Ryan Sager and Chris Cillizza for debate analysis.
UPDATE — 10:54 p.m.: Although I’ve already awarded Romney the quote of the night, I’d give the runner-up award the Club for Growth for its press release.
