With football season fast approaching, I’ve been growing nervous about my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, who will be led by a new coach for the first time in 15 years.
I was no fan of the move to let Joey Porter walk away and I wasn’t exactly sold on their draft picks. But I have to say that I was relieved that the Steelers signed Troy Polamalu to a five-year extension. I called Porter the heart and soul of the team; it’s appropriate to call Polamalu the brains of the operation.
