‘We Have So Many Other Things to Do’

I love Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R.-Ky.) reaction to Sen. Russ Feingold’s (D.-Wis.) censure resolutions:

If you’re wondering how Congress can continue to disappoint, I submit Senator Feingold’s proposal as exhibit A. I think Sen. Reid said it best: ‘We have so many other things to do.’

McConnell is right. Censuring Bush would be a waste of time, and I’d venture to guess that it would do more damage to the Democrats than the GOP. In that case, maybe it’s not such a bad idea.
