Heritage Takes Over First Place in Think Tank Softball
Posted by: Rob Bluey In: On the Job| Sports
Tonight’s Think Tank Softball game between Heritage and the National Democratic Institute wasn’t nearly as dramatic as the last time we met, but we left feeling a lot better. We beat our arch rival, 27-16, to take over first place in our division. With just one game remaining, we’re on the path for the playoffs.
After the controversial ending to our last game against NDI, it was anyone’s guess how tonight would turn out. I’m happy to report that both teams were well behaved and played a clean game. NDI’s manager, Peter Komives, even joked with me between innings when we compared scores.
I played just a couple of innings and went 1-for-1 with a run scored. I spent part of the game recording some video of our team and I’ve posted a few of best clips on YouTube and below.
UPDATE — 11:20 a.m.: Andrew Blasko has posted photos from last night’s game on his blog.
