U.S. News and World Report says that Harry Potter regularly tops President Bush as the most-blogged-about-person, according to Nielsen Buzzmetrics. Are you kidding me?

In his younger days—three months ago—he could give Harry a run for his money, swapping the top spot with the boy wizard from day to day. But a new book and a new movie in the Harry Potter saga left the president in the dust.

Mitt Romney gave Potter a run for his money on Sunday, the day after Romney trampled the competition in the Iowa straw poll. The blog buzz about Romney managed to push Bush out of second place. And all the excitement brought record traffic to Romney’s website, says Mindy Finn, the campaign’s director of e-strategy.

But the buzz about Mitt wasn’t enough to dethrone Potter. Really? You mean to tell me that many people blogging about Harry Potter. Who are you?
