Republicans Finally Settle on a Date for YouTube Debate

There’s good news coming out of the Republican Party of Florida this morning. The Republican presidential candidates (with the exception of Mitt Romney) have settled on Nov. 28 for their version of the CNN/YouTube debate. After much controversy and delay, this event is now set to take place at the Mahaffey Theatre in St. Petersburg, Fla.

A press release from CNN confirms that candidates will stick to the same format that Democrats used during their debate earlier this month:

Like the Democratic CNN/YouTube debate, this live two-hour forum will feature video questions submitted to YouTube that will be broadcast and answered by the candidates on CNN. CNN’s Anderson Cooper will moderate.

The challenge now is to get conservatives — and not just tech-savvy youngsters — to submit questions for the debate. Simply go to YouTube’s debate page to get started. If you can get your parents or grandparents on camera, please lend a helping hand.
