When I fired off my post about Karl Rove yesterday, I had no idea it would generate so much buzz. The Washington Examiner quoted it in today’s newspaper (lower right article in the above picture) and Joe Garofoli cited it in a piece for the San Francisco Chronicle. Jane Hamsher also featured it on Firedoglake.
It’s moments like these that I begin to question what I wrote, especially because I’m speaking for myself and not Heritage. Ed Feulner released a statement that framed it differently than I did. I wrote mine expressing what I felt at the moment. I guess maybe that’s why it was such a hit.
UPDATE — 11:11 p.m.: I was also asked today to answer six questions about Rove by my friends at NPR’s Bryant Park Project. I hope you’ll have a look at what I had to say.
