Hoping for a White House Wedding

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Politics

Jenna Bush and Henry Hager are getting married. The president’s daughter got engaged yesterday to the former Karl Rove aide whose dad is the chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia. (Hat tip to James Joyner of Outside the Beltway.)

The last White House wedding happened 40 years ago during the Nixon Administration when Tricia Nixon married Edward Cox in the Rose Garden. Jenna has 17 months left before her father vacates the White House. I’m hoping she’ll take advantage of the venue.

Just saw two helicopters flying over Thurmont, MD. I wonder if the Obamas are visiting Camp David?

@MelissaTweets Nope, I'm in Atlanta. Don't think there's a Chick-fil-A at Reagan.

Took a detour to terminal A. Nothing is better than a Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit for breakfast. http://yfrog.com/0vgjyj
