Before I head out for Labor Day weekend, I wanted to leave you with some reading material and a great shot of Tiger Woods in action at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston. The photo was taken by my college buddy Mike Ratty. Thanks for sharing!

*DeLay Schools Matt Lauer on Media Bias - Mark Finkelstein, NewsBusters*

It seems odd that the corporate media would bother having Tom DeLay on the air. DeLay himself is dirty and yet NBC seems to have forgotten how DeLay whimpered out of congress with dark clouds overhead. The real story isn’t that NBC asked DeLay on *The Today Show* to talk about GOP-Republican scandals which evidently ticked off *The Hammer* because Lauer wasn’t bringing up the Democrats that have had recent scandals. As a viewer of the corporate media I ask, why would NBC bring on someone in the mist of a scandal. NBC may want to rethink their guest list. Crooks like DeLay should be the subject matter not the guest.

Note to NBC’s sister network MSNBC and Chris Matthews… stop inviting DeLay and Bernie Kerik on your show, it only brings down your already tainted image. Save the dirty GOPers invite for your Labor Day BBQ. Also Chris, stop bringing up your Philly roots in an attempt to show yourself as a moderate kind of guy. You’re a GOP-Republican propaganda man and not a damn thing more.
