Rediscover Your Party

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Capitol Hill| Politics

The National Republican Congressional Committee announced its new video series today, branding it “Rediscover Your Party,” and promising to feature Republicans such as NRCC Chairman Tom Cole (Okla.), Minority Leader John Boehner (Ohio), Whip Roy Blunt (Mo.), and Reps. Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.), Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), Jeb Hensarling (Tex.), Patrick McHenry (N.C.), Mike Pence (Ind.) and Candice Miller (Mich.). First thing I noticed was that conservatives dominated the list. Here’s the first video:

UPDATE — 11:48 p.m.: Meanwhile, on the other side of Capitol Hill, the National Republican Senatorial Committee has been hard at work with on its new online video campaign. The ad asks, “Is This Really What You Voted For?” It goes on to child Senate Democrats for failing to stand up against extremist liberal organizations such as MoveOn.org.

“Is this really what you voted for” logically doesnt make any sense. People were tired of the lies and corruption of the right so they voted in the democrats. The democrats are being blocked by Bush and haven’t got as much passed as they’d like.

So you blame the democrats for bills that Bush has vetoed or that Republicans have killed in committee.

The real solution would be to vote out ALL republicans. Then some action could be taken.

Just saw two helicopters flying over Thurmont, MD. I wonder if the Obamas are visiting Camp David?

@MelissaTweets Nope, I'm in Atlanta. Don't think there's a Chick-fil-A at Reagan.
