Fresh Ink in the Veto Pen

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Clippings

This week on Townhall I write about the showdown between President Bush and congressional Democrats over taxes and spending. Mitt Romney promised at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference that he would make sure there was fresh ink in the veto pen if elected president. Fiscal conservatives hope Bush adopts the same attitude.

surely everyone knows that there’s no fiscal conservatives in the GOP, if so, why is there 9 trillion worth of debt weighing the US economy down?
Even Clinton managed to get the debt down, and he was a Democrat.
