As I looked at the audience cheering I became aware that the racial makeup was primarily white. Nothing wrong with being a white middle-class American who wants to help make things better, but I am wondering how we can broaden participation across the racial divide, and attract our black brethren who are blue politically, but surprisingly red in regard to core values. Surely black Americans make up some of those high percentages who agree on key issues. If we can find a way to gain their support, American Solutions truly would be an even more effective force for change. It's good to see Newt including leaders from the black community-- I just hope we can build on it. No other politician thinks things out like Newt. Indeed, I dont think they can. Newt is "Presidential" and has the education, knowledge comensurate with wise foreign and domestic policy. The Christian Right is now looking for a third party candidate to run because nothing is out there in either party. Think again, wont you Newt.
