Singing for the President

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Family & Friends

Ithaca College music student Adam Strube is counting down the hours until his big performance this Saturday at a White House Christmas party. Adam will be singing songs of the season with Ithaca alumnus Carl Ruck. It’s a wonderful honor for two great people whom I’ve come to know in the past month.

Adam’s performance has generated quite a buzz on campus and even made news in nearby Syracuse (see the clip below). The best part is that Adam has invited me to join him as his guest on Saturday, so after six years in Washington, I’ll finally get to go to my first White House Christmas party. It’s a real treat.
