Not All Democrats Are Economically Illiterate

Posted by: Rob Bluey In: Capitol Hill

My colleague Bill Beach, Heritage’s director of the Center for Data Analysis, testified on Capitol Hill today about the economy. Although the liberals on the Joint Economic Committee didn’t give Bill much time to talk, he made excellent points in his opening remarks.

The highlight of the hearing came when Rep. Baron Hill, a Blue Dog Democrat from Indiana, deviated from the Democrats’ talking points and questioned the need to enact a stimulus package.

@sorendayton Please let USNews be wrong. I guess I'd take Whitman out of that group, although I know next to nothing about her policy views.

@justin_hart Good idea on mymanmitt.com. I liked your e-mail pitch, too. Hadn't heard that story about Romney and the pizza party before.
