I experimented with the white balance and ISO settings on my camera this week for photo class. The shots above were taken at the George Washington Masonic Memorial in Alexandria, Va. It was our second trip to the memorial and it provided a great setting for taking some indoor shots like the ones above.
I’ve posted a few other photos on Flickr that I snapped at the Kennedy Center and of church on Virginia Avenue NW near the Watergate.
I enjoyed these past two assignments dealing with color and lighting because they taught me something new about my camera, but I’m really looking forward to our next assignment using shutter speed and aperture to experiment with motion and depth of field.
