The perception that the U.S. troop surge in Iraq has succeeded is changing some public views of the war, potentially blunting Democrats’ political edge on the issue.

For investors worried about corporate mismanagement, the Securities and Exchange Commission is offering the proverbial ounce of prevention that is far better than the ton of cure that class-action lawsuits purport to provide.

*The perception that the U.S. troop surge in Iraq has succeeded*
*PERCEPTION* being the key word. Maybe it’s true, maybe the American war machine has killed enough Iraqis that they’re now ready for a peaceful occupation (coming on on the 5 year aniv.) by The United States of America. I’d recommend using *empathy* to get a better understanding of Iraqi life. *Empathy* can sometimes turn on the light bulb so people can see what blinded them. I wonder what the average day brings for an adult male in Baghdad these days. I wonder if the Iraqis dream of having their tyrant Saddam back so people could get back to living. GWBush has a lot to answer for. His lies about Iraq has led to so much death and destruction and a dim future for Iraq. *Fightin’ ‘em there so we don’t have to fight ‘em here* sounds like a good approach but it was all BS from Jump Street. And in reality as we *fight ‘em there* don’t you think them capable… if they really wanted, to have suicide bombers in any major U.S. city, don’t you think them able? Let’s be real about terrorism and remember that *nation building* will create more terror. This *perpetual war* we’re in needs to be fixed and It’ll take a president not in the GOP-Republican Party to do it. Let’s get the war pigs out of government. 650,000 dead Iraqis and 4 million Iraqis displaced is no way to claim any morality. When the country with the worlds largest (by a wide margin) military plays the fear card as a means to invade and occupy other countries … we have a problem at home. I’m wrong to blame it all on GOP-Republicans. Democrats like Hillary Clinton were eager to approve of GWBush’s war with Iraq. Biggest mistake of my life time, Hillary was wrong yet Democrats are going to make her their candidate to run against McCain who did the same damn thing. Maybe I need to join main stream America and get a doctor’s prescription for mind numbing pharmaceuticals… help ease the pain of a country in a tail spin.
