Monday marks the seventh day of the House GOP protest over high energy prices. Republicans are planning to continue the revolt on the House floor until the Democratic National Convention, meaning you have two more weeks to witness this historic moment with your own eyes.

I’ve been on the floor each of the six days, providing most of my coverage via Twitter. I won’t be able to spend as much time in the Capitol this week, but I still plan to make an appearance each day to gauge the enthusiasm of the GOP members and the visitors who are passing through. One of the things I’ve enjoyed most is seeing so many interesting people, interviewing members of Congress, visiting fellow bloggers and observing awestruck tourists.
