Hanging Out at the Presidential Dinner
I was fortunate to score a seat at the Shirley & Banister table for tonight’s presidential dinner at CPAC. (Thanks, Joe Turman.) I’ve filed a complete report on Bluey Blog.
Many bloggers decided to skip the event. Some were just too tired, while others lacked adequate attire. No one showed up in pajamas today, but they weren’t all as well dressed as Scott Olin Schmidt.
Bloggers I did see there included Matt Naugle and Ivy Sellers of Human Events, Philip Klein and John Tabin of the American Spectator, Erick Erickson of RedState and Ian Schwartz of Hot Air. Michigan Republican Party Chairman Saul Anuzis, the only state party chairman with a blog, was seated at the head table, by the way.
